1. Many budget airlines offer cheap tickets for travel to the Costa Brava. Some of them such as Easyjet fly to Barcelona (one hour away), others such as Ryanair offer flights to Girona. Remember that the Spanish rail company Renfe has got many interesting offers at attractive prices on the internet. If you want to travel by train to or from Barcelona, it is worth visiting the Renfe website. More information is available on the respective internet sites. In Barcelona or Girona there are many public transports (mainly bus and train) with which you can quickly and easily get to beach areas of the Costa Brava or the rural areas in the hinterland.
